Added Monster Energy Supercross 5 to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium

The official arena-based dirt bike racing game was released earlier this year and will be part of the top two PlayStation Plus tiers starting September 6th.

The official game of the US-based championship, Monster Energy Supercross 5, will be added to the PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscription services on September 6th.

PlayStation Plus’ Extra and Premium tiers are a relatively new optional addition to the service, which already provides a handful of downloadable games each month and online services.

Supercross 5 will be available for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 and will be available alongside its Milestone developed brethren MXGP 2021 and racing titles such as Assetto Corsa Competizione, Monster Jam Steel Titans 2, Project CARS 2, Ride 4, Wreckfest and WRC 10 FIA Rallye World Championship.

The dirt bike racer was released in March of this year and in our testing we felt it was a significant step forward for the series, with a smoother presentation and more accessible ride than 2021’s Supercross 4.

Extra, Premium, and Essential Plus subscribers also have the option to add Need for Speed Heat to their libraries throughout September.
