Detailed playlist of Forza Horizon 5’s April Festival, Midnights at Horizon

The 19th festival playlist for Forza Horizon 5 coincides with the latest expansion, Rally Adventure, but the theme for March was a rally theme, so what is it this month?

Well, starting March 30th, the latest festival will revolve around the nighttime racing scene, as Midnights at Horizon kicks off for the following four weeks until it closes on April 27th.

Full details were revealed on March 27th on Forza’s monthly live stream.

This time, four new cars are coming to Forza Horizon 5. Each one can be unlocked by earning just 20 PTS in the respective season.

  • 2021 Rimac Nevera (20 PTS in Week 1 – Summer)
  • 2022 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing (20 PTS in Week 2 – Fall)
  • 2021 Lexus LC 500 (20 PTS in Week 3 – Winter)
  • 2022 Cadillac CT4-V Blackwing (20 PTS in Week 4 – Spring)

A total of 280 PTS – 70 in each week or season – can be accumulated across the entire series. One can get almost the first full series reward by making full use of the Summer Festival!

With 80 PTS, the “epic” 2012 Porsche 911 GT3 RS4 is less hard to find and more in your inventory. By doubling at 160 PTS, the same theory applies to the “epic” and “hard to find” Aventador J.

The reason for the increased PTS in this 19th series is due to the addition of the Rally Adventure Expansion Events in combination with the existing Hot Wheels Expansion Events.

This month there are monthly Rivals Forza EV competitions for you to enter. With the midnight lifestyle taking center stage, you can bet there will be some pretty pretty graphics all over Mexico when the sun turns off.

Two ‘legendary’ vehicles are up for grabs in the first week of the festival during the summer’s ‘wet’ season. 70 PTS are on the list and as mentioned above, the new, “Exclusive” and “Legendary” Rimac Nevera is unlocked after collecting 20 of them.

Double down and grab just over half of what’s available, and the ‘hard-to-find’ and ‘legendary’ 2018 ID Zerouno can be yours. Granted, if you don’t have either expansion, there’s really only 56 PTS available… take the 10 PTS out of The Trial if you’re not in the Hall of Fame and it’ll be a bit harder to get the one you need PTS.

The #FORZATHON Weekly Challenge takes on some Aussie vibes by requiring the use of the 2014 HSV GEN-F GTS for Holden On.

The Forzathon Store also has a “Legendary” 2018 Apollo IE for sale for 550 Forzathon Points.

Two “epic” cars, the McLaren 570S and the Maserati GT-S, are rewards for completing The Trial and the first EventLab challenge respectively. The second EventLab and the three PR stunts all award a Super Wheelspin reward.

The ‘rare’ 2012 Mini JCW and the ‘common’ Audi RS3 will be rewarded for completing the two season championships.

The first week has a treasure hunt – “Shelby Coming Down the Mountain” is the title and the clue reads “She’s a beauty to behold, you have to drift sideways to win gold”.

There is also a #NEONNIGHTS Photo Challenge and a Horizon Open Challenge, both of which award no cars but two PTS each for the weekly and monthly rewards.

Next week will be the Fall “Storm” season with another 70 PTS up for grabs. Scoring 20 PTS unlocks this new “Rare” and “Exclusive” CT5-V Caddy. Score another 20 PTS and the ‘Epic’ and ‘Hard to Find’ 2013 Audi R8 is unlocked.

Rally Adventure players and Hot Wheels players will have two more events per expansion to participate in and seven more PTS per expansion to collect.

In the Corvette Racing #FORZATHON weekly challenge, you need another GM-branded car, the 2015 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28, to complete the chapters.

As for The Trail for the Hall of Fame players, the 2013 Vantage S, an “epic” machine, unlocks along with 10 PTS added to your total for the week.

Another “epic” car in the Audi RS 7 will be unlocked in the first EventLab of the week and another four Super Wheelspins will be added to your collection with the next EventLab and three PR stunts.

In the three season championships, two “regular” cars in the Infiniti Q60 and Holden Sandman and one “rare” car in the Porsche Cayman can be unlocked through completion.

There won’t be a treasure hunt in the fall, but there will be a collectibles! By smashing 10 Horizon Neon Cubes, each player can unlock a “Legendary” Festival Sombrero.

The Photo Challenge offers a song reward by photographing any track toy next to the neon tank at Guanajuato University.

The second half of the festival begins in the winter dry season, and the ‘rare’, ‘exclusive’ and new 2021 Lexus LC 500 will be unlocked after collecting 20 out of a possible 70 PTS.

Earning 40 PTS also unlocks the 2018 ATS GT, a “hard to find” and “epic” reward.

Two other PR stunts and seasonal championships specific to their expansions can also be completed here.

The festival’s first two #FORZATHON Weekly Challenges were GM-related, but this week another American muscle is needed in the 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500. Completing this grants you 5 PTS and 80 Forzathon Points.

A theme of “epic” rewards continues this week, as a 1959 Porsche 356 is the reward for completing The Trial and a 1967 Corvette is the reward in the first EventLab.

As in the other two weeks, there are Super Wheelspins in PR Stunts and the second EventLab. New for winter are seasonal playground games where you can unlock a “rare” Ariel Nomad.

Two other “rare” cars, a 1977 Pontiac Trans Am and a 2008 BMW Z4, are rewards for completing the regular season championships.

Overlook is the name of the winter treasure hunt. The clue reads, “Horizon would be proud of your ‘amazing’ base jump. Hmmm…

#NEONHEIGHTS is the photo challenge here, and there’s another Horizon Open with a ‘rare’ 2015 Dodge Challenger reward on the horizon.

Finally, the “hot” spring season wraps up the final week of the Midnights at Horizon Festival. This new “Exclusive” and “Rare” Cadillac CT4-V unlocks for 20 PTS. A “hard to find” and “epic” Radical RXC unlocks at 40 PTS. As usual, there are 70 PTS to collect.

The #FORZATHON Weekly Challenge requires the use of a 2012 Nissan GT-R Black Edition (R35) in the aptly named “Black Edition” challenge. Once again, 5 PTS and 80 Forzathon Points will accrue if you complete it.

The last two “epic” cars up for grabs this season are the 2018 Saleen S1 for completing The Trial and the Lotus 3-Eleven for completing this first EventLab.

A danger sign, a speed trap and a speed zone are the three PR stunts that must be completed for the three Super Wheelspins there. There is also a Super Wheelspin in the second EventLab.

A “rare” 1970 Chevelle and a “rare” 2010 Volkswagen Golf R will unlock in Season Championships. In addition to the three PTS, there is also a Horizon Tour Co-Op Championship with no rewards.

TREASURE HUNT! The third and final treasure hunt of the festival is “Shoulda, Woulda, Cuda”. “Don’t let the time pass you by and you will do well in this arcade” is the key.

#NEONPALMS is the photo challenge. A “rare” 2009 BMW M5 is available for finishing better than 30th place in The Eliminator.

The big update for the new expansion is expected later this week, but to coincide with the festival playlist update, there are a few things Forza has already prepared. Here’s what the official site says:

  • We fixed the black windows appearing on the car thumbnails in the car selection menu. While this doesn’t apply retroactively to existing thumbnails, they can be regenerated themselves by modifying the car with either a new paint, livery, or tuning parts.
  • Fixed an issue in Las Afueras Street Race with reversing the car after missing a certain checkpoint.
  • Daily Wheelspins from Hotel Castillo Player House are now consistently rewarded every day.
  • Fixed an issue that prevented players from using D-Pad menus after the convoy host disconnected while loading into a race.
  • We’ve made improvements to reduce the crash rate during head-to-head races in The Eliminator and Free Roam.
  • Players could generate additional Commendation points offline that contributed to the Hall of Fame leaderboard by replaying timed Commendation Challenges. This has been fixed.
  • Fixed the number of target photos for Horizon Promo.
  • Fixed an issue that caused cars not to rev over 3000 RPM when shifting from first gear to reverse or reverse to first gear.
  • Fixed a PC-specific issue that caused the game to crash when the display was not connected to the primary graphics card.
