Enjoy the Spanish GP in Assetto Corsa

It’s no secret that Montmelo is a bit outdated for current Formula 1 cars, but at least this year it gave us the satisfaction of being able to eliminate the horrible final sector that we’d suffered from for too many years. In the end, after many changes, it returned to its original configuration from 30 years ago.

Alonso and Sainz return to their home Grand Prix in a season where they have continued opportunities and we hope they can capitalize on all those opportunities by scoring points or, who knows, even wins.

What struck us most about Montmelo last year was the numerous complaints from fans who felt mistreated by the organization, with several medical incidents due to the heat and unjustified allegations of all kinds. There was chaos, unworthy of a circuit of this level was.

As always, before a Grand Prix we bring you some mods to enjoy the track in Assetto Corsa. For the time being, Formula 1 will be in Barcelona under its current name until 2026. There is only one clear overtaking point on the main straight. The schedule for CEST Europe is as follows:

Friday June 2nd

1:30 p.m.: Free practice 1
5:00 p.m.: Free practice 2

Saturday June 3rd

12:30 p.m.: Free practice 3
4:00 p.m.: Qualifying

Sunday June 4th

3:00 p.m.: Race

Reliability issues with Leclerc’s car prevented Ferrari from claiming a win early in the race that they had a good chance of claiming. The result led to a one-two for Red Bull after Perez let Verstappen pass from the pit wall on team orders. Sainz finished fourth after a race with multiple penalties.
