What is MotoGP 23?

MotoGP 23 is the latest game in the long-running MotoGP series that emulates the riders, tracks and bikes of the real MotoGP motorcycle racing series.

Who is developing MotoGP 23?

MotoGP 23 is developed by the Italian studio Milestone, which has been developing the official MotoGP games since 2013. Milestone has a long history of developing motorcycle racing games and has also developed official titles of the FIM Motocross World Championship and the Superbike World Championship.


Will there be flag-to-flag racing in MotoGP 23?

Yes, for the first time in the series, MotoGP 23 will feature flag-to-flag racing. If the weather changes during the race, MotoGP 23 players can enter the pit lane to change their bikes.

As the race starts dry and transitions to wet (and vice versa), riders can pit for an all-new bike, specially set up for the changing conditions. This is designed to improve driver safety while adding a strategic element to the procedure. Estimating the optimal moment to change a wheel can be crucial to a driver’s final position.

Will MotoGP 23 have dynamic weather?

Yes, thanks to the introduction of flag-to-flag racing, MotoGP 23 will also have dynamic weather, meaning races can be wet, dry or wet, with varying levels of wetness in between. Drying race lines should be present, as they appeared in MotoGP 22.

Will MotoGP 23 have online multiplayer?

Yes, MotoGP 23 will have online multiplayer with cross-play functionality between PlayStation and Xbox platforms (cross-play is not available on the Nintendo Switch and PC versions). Multiplayer will also include ranked races; an online matchmaking system where players are placed in races with opponents of similar skill.

Will MotoGP 23 have a career mode?

Yes, MotoGP 23 will feature a single player career mode featuring all the bikes, riders and tracks from the 2023 MotoGP season. Career mode will introduce a new “Turning Points” system that will allow players to progress faster through support classes into MotoGP.

In-season challenges and tests will also serve to support bike development, using in-game social media mechanics to manage relationships with AI riders and influence your rivals’ behavior on the track.

MotoGP 23 will be released on June 8th, 2023.

MotoGP 23 will be available on PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam).
