F1 23: v1.05 patch notes

EA Sports has published a list of all fixes in the v1.05 patch for F1 23. This should provide brief relief for players affected by these bugs.

The first F1® 23 patch (v1.05) will be available for download on Xbox, PlayStation and PC platforms in the coming days.

Here are the changes made with this patch:

  • Fixed an issue where Two Player Career was incorrectly using the same achievement instead of a realistic achievement
  • Fixed an issue where Safety Car and Formation Lap were disabled on 25% short circuits
  • Fixed an issue where players could be removed from multiplayer lobbies when interacting with some system menus
  • Fixed an issue where some players could experience FPS drops during night races
  • Fixed an issue where cars would incorrectly collide when the “Collisions disabled for first lap only” setting was enabled
  • Fixed an issue where the game would crash if an extra career F2 save was active
  • Fixed an issue where target positions were incorrect after a red flag
  • Fixed an issue where TrueForce was not applied for Logitech wheels on Playstation and PC
  • Fixed an issue where when exiting the 11th garage in Monaco, the car would hit a wall and deal damage
  • Fixed an issue where switching between Performance and Quality graphics modes was causing FPS issues on Xbox Series X
  • Fixed an issue where an F1 World objective would expire while a bonus objective was active, resulting in an error message
  • Fixed “Renault Driver Academy” to “Alpine Driver Academy” in single player career
  • Fixed an issue where the virtual rearview mirror was present when looking back with certain settings enabled
  • Fixed an issue where sponsor decals were not showing on racing suits and helmets in My Team
  • Fixed an issue where players would get stuck on the starting grid in Chapter 7 in Braking Point
  • Fixed an issue where post-damage strategy change was not reflected on the voice command display
  • General stability improvements
  • Various minor fixes

The release date for platforms such as Xbox Series X, Playstation 5 or PC is June 16th.
