The new venue was presented as the inaugural round of the Le Mans Virtual Series esports competition and is expected to be available for the platform soon.
When the Le Mans Virtual Series (LMVS) gets underway later this month, its opening round will take place at the as yet unreleased Bahrain International Circuit.
However, yesterday (September 1, 2022) the championship’s social media account posted four preview images of the track on the platform – and it looks like it’s in an advanced stage of completion.
No prizes to guess which circuit we are proud to add to the 22/23 Le Mans Virtual Series calendar😉
The @BAH_Int_Circuit will be hosting the first round of the series and what a fantastic addition to @rFactor2 this stunning circuit is!

All the details are there and correct, with Bahrain’s sand-colored run-off areas, BIC tower and obligatory Ferris wheel with LED lights adding a touch of immersion to the simulated example.
However, what is unknown is what circuit layouts will be included in the retail version of the track and when it will be released. Looking ahead to previous rFactor 2 dates, the next update is expected around November 7th as part of a Q4 content drop.
Rest assured that we will be on hand to report on any official announcements from the Studio 397 team as they take place. Are you excited for the Bahrain International Circuit to come to rFactor 2? What’s your favorite layout? Let us know in the comments below.
