iRacing – [2023] Season 2 schedule available now!

It’s the moment you all wait for every quarter: the release of the latest iRacing build! 2023 Season 2 is here and it includes three new cars, a new track, tons of new AI, unlocks new features and much more. Here’s a quick look at what to expect from the new build:

  • late model stock: iRacing’s latest stock car to be used in the CARS Late Model Stock Tour comes straight from the master stable at JR Motorsports.
  • Renault Clio RSV: Used in the Renault Clio Cup around the world, this fun, nimble FWD machine carries the legacy of decades of branded racing powered by Renault.
  • Beam FF1600: The Ray FF1600 is the machine of choice for up-and-coming Max Esterson in one of the world’s most historic entry-level racing formulas and the newest addition to iRacing’s open-wheel ladder.
  • Jerez-Ángel Nieto circuit: Jerez, a former venue for the Spanish and European Grands Prix, offers two configurations and becomes the newest European road circuit in the simulation.
  • New damage model: The Ray FF1600 debuts with NDM enabled, while the Toyota GR86 also gets an NDM update!
  • AI Race: Not only is all of this season’s new car and track content AI-enabled, but the Mercedes-AMG W13 E Performance and tracks like Barcelona, ​​Suzuka and Zandvoort have all layouts unlocked. Additionally, the new Atlanta Oval, LA Coliseum, Pocono, and Darlington top a long list of Oval unlocks.
  • Auto Fuel: A new fueling option uses your lap data to calculate fuel settings, helping you fill up with just enough fuel to make it to the finish or to determine how much you want to save.
  • Auto Parameter Updates: The NASCAR Cup Series Next Gen cars have received tire and design parameter updates, while the Dallara iR-01’s aerodynamics have been updated to support oval racing.
  • Dynamic brake audio system: GTE, GT3, GT4 and touring cars produce different noises when braking depending on the brake temperature and pressure.
  • Visual update of iRacing (UI): Enjoy a new modern look for the iRacing application! Also added various fixes and improvements to modernize the user experience.
