These are the improvements according to official McLaren information:

  • Born on the race track, the McLaren 720S GT3 was the first GT model designed and built in-house by McLaren Customer Racing and is based on the highly acclaimed 720S from the Super Series. The new evolution of the GT3 continues the success of the 720S at the top of the international GT field in the 2023 season and beyond.
  • Ultimate raceability: The new 720S GT3 EVO improves on the pace-setting customer racing machine. The lightweight but extremely stiff carbon fiber MonoCage II chassis structure and race-ready version of the M840T 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 engine continue to deliver performance and track success around the world.
  • Aerodynamically Improved: Improved aerodynamic performance with more overall downforce. Engineered to move overall balance forward and improve vehicle performance, allowing it to be more consistent in traffic.
  • Long-distance advantage: With greater suspension adjustment range and improved serviceability and robustness at wheel-to-wheel contact. The 720S EVO reflects the learnings of the 720S GT3, which has been a leading GT3 car since its first race.
