Nissan Silvia enters the 11th season of Rocket League

Rocket League Season 11 begins today (June 7th, 2023) and brings with it a host of improvements, fixes and content additions to the wildly popular vehicle soccer game alongside update v2.28.

Topping the list is the inclusion of the Nissan Silvia (S13) as part of Season 11’s Rocket Pass. Also included is a new arena and a limited-time Birthday Ball event celebrating the game’s upcoming eight year anniversary.

Nissan Sylvia

The Nissan Silvia is one of the most popular drift cars of all time. The Silvia – commonly known as the 200SX or 240sx outside of Japan – is easily converted into an effective sideways machine thanks to its balanced rear-wheel drive chassis and parts availability.

With the hybrid hitbox, the car is the ideal “Soccar” star. The Nissan Silvia RLE version features a hood scoop, carbon fiber modifications and a huge rear wing to reinforce the aggressive stance. This look can be enhanced by fitting the included Nissan Silvia RLE wheels.

New arena of Rocket League Season 11: Vida Arena Stadium

Inspired by Latin American football stadiums, Estadio Vida Arena is located in a seaside resort not dissimilar to Rio de Janeiro. Supporting this theory is Brazilian artist Carola’s inclusion on Rocket League Radio.

Additionally, players can purchase a new player anthem in the Item Shop in the form of the Portuguese title “Não Sei Parar” by Bhaskar & Afterclapp, adding even more carnival atmosphere to the new arena.

Rocket League Season 11: further improvements

A major improvement to the Rocket League experience with Season 11 and the v2.28 update is the addition of transparent goal posts. Goalposts have long been a bogeyman in the Rocket League community, often obscuring players’ views when in or around the goal area.

This has now been moved to the (top) shelf with the latest update of Rocket League and is available in every version of the game.

The base model Nissan Silvia can be purchased through Rocket League’s Premium Rocket Pass for 1,000 credits. Progressing through the Rocket Pass tiers will unlock the RLE version, including various horn, trail and wheel add-ons.

For reference, it costs £3.75/$4.99 for 500 credits, £7.50/$9.99 for 1,000 credits, £18.75/$24.99 for 3,000 credits, or £37.50/49 $.99 for 6,500 credits.

Rocket League Season 11 is available now for PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch versions along with the v2.28 update.
