Ride 5 Special Edition includes Early Access and Season Pass

The Special Edition and bonuses give an indication of how the content strategy will evolve after Ride 5’s release.

First, both digital Standard Edition pre-orders and a Special Edition include the Far East Pack, which includes two additional bikes:

  • Kawasaki Z900 2021
  • Suzuki TL1000R Racing Modified 1998

The Z900 is a 125hp (at 9,500rpm) super-brand motorcycle in the brand’s Z-Sugomi style. The older Suzuki, on the other hand, is a uniquely tuned motorsport version of the 90° V-twin superbike.

Luckily, both bikes are new to Ride 5 and won’t appear in 2020’s Ride 4. We expect the pack will be available as a separate purchase for those who don’t pre-order or pick up the special edition.

Season pass confirmed

It sets the template for Ride 5’s DLC schedule, with a special edition of the game also including a Rebel Pack, the contents of which have yet to be confirmed.

It also comes with a Season Pass, confirming a long-term commitment to new content after release. For example, the Ride 4 Season Pass included new bikes, events, and trophies/achievements three times a month for the 10 months after launch. Then there was a mix of paid and free additions.
