Simagic introduces new versatile 300mm wheel rim

Simagic today released details of its latest GT Sport sim racing wheel, showcasing its versatile 300mm circular chassis.

Chinese manufacturer of sim racing peripherals, Simagic, today (November 25, 2022) released details of its new GT Sport rim.

Designed as an all-in-one sim racing solution, the GT Sport is a comfortable 300mm wide and features adjustable Hall-effect shift paddles, two seven-way switches, two rotary encoders, seven RGB-decorated buttons and an LED -RPM strips.

For simracers with tactile preferences, the bike is made in both Alcantara and leather trim (Alcantara costs an extra $20/€). In terms of the clutches, the GT Sport uses Simagic’s proprietary QR50 quick release system.

The rim is made of magnesium aluminum alloy, weighs 1.45 kg and contains 128 button stickers for optimal adjustment. Thanks to its round shape, the GT Sport should work well as a rally, drift, touring car and sports car rim.

However, the manufacturer’s claim that it’s ideal for open-wheel racing seems too far-fetched given its width and shape.
