Upcoming F1 22 updates will include F2, starting October 11th

The next update for F1 22 from EA Sports will include Formula 2 racing and tons of customization items starting October 11th.

The next update for F1 22 from EA Sports will be released on Tuesday (October 11) with a lot of new content for players of the title. The main novelty of the game is that the 2022 FIA Formula 2 World Championship will now be playable, as well as the launch of Podium Pass Series 3.

With the addition of Formula 2, you can drive the F2 cars modeled in the title. The 14-round Formula 2 season includes the F2 Sprint and F2 drivers such as Logan Sargeant, Jack Doohan and Felipe Drugovich. The 14-race F2 season was scheduled to start in Bahrain and end at Yas Marina, reflecting the real-world schedule.

30 levels will be included in Podium Pass Series 3, both free and VIP, and that will launch on Wednesday October 12th. These customization items include wraps, gloves, and helmets that feature visual elements such as flames, American flag patterns, and a Mexican “Day of the Dead”-inspired scheme.

There are some other nice things to look forward to in the updates. Champions Edition players will have Mika Häkkinen as an in-game icon for MyTeam mode starting October 17th. The McLaren Future Mode livery will be available as a free download to all players for a limited time.

US-inspired items will also be deposited in in-game player mail on October 17th. Finally, “The Griddy,” a dance thing that seems to have gone viral, will be part of the update. Now your driver can use it to celebrate a podium finish. That comes into play on October 17 as well.

What are you looking forward to most in this latest update of F1 22? It all starts on Tuesday October 11th, so keep an eye out for this update as soon as it’s available.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
