Updates for Stock Car Brasil, Merc GT4 included in 2023 iRacing Season 2 Patch 4

The latest patch for iRacing was released in the US on Wednesday morning (April 19) and brought some updates and fixes to select content on the service.

Brazilian stock car fans will be pleased to learn that in the latest patch, iRacing has updated both the Chevrolet Cruze and Toyota Camry stock cars to 2023 branding specs. This may mean updating these color schemes on Trading Paints.

Another car with an update today is the Mercedes-AMG GT4. It’s not an overhaul of the machine, but it has a little more mass under the sheet metal. Also, the car now has an “upgraded ABS system with faster response and better control and performance,” according to the patch notes.

I’m not sure how that affects the performance of the other cars in the GT4 class, but I’m sure the community will take a look at how it compares.

Other fixes in the somewhat minor patch include a logo update for the Audi R8 LMS, setup updates for the Dallara F3, and for some reason there is no mention of this in the patch notes, but there is for both the NASCAR NEXT Gen Chevrolet Camaro and the Toyota Camry also got updates.
