Here are the four new cars coming to GRID Legends

Four cars were teased Monday to eventually come to GRID Legends, a hint that “the night is at its darkest just before dawn.”

There were signs of life from GRID Legends on Monday (October 10, 2022) as the title’s various social media accounts posted four teaser images with the caption, “The night is darkest just before dawn.”

We haven’t had any updates to GRID Legends since it was announced that it would be coming to EA Play along with the v3.3 update. That was in August. Now in October there are four images of cars that are not currently in the game but are likely to be coming soon.

We believe the top left image is a Bentley Continental GT3, the top right is a 2003 Bentley Speed 8, the bottom left is a BMW V12 LMR, and while the smaller bottom right image might resemble a Nissan Skyline, it’s actually one autozam AZ-1.

The Bentley Continental GT3 racer with a global track record is now in the middle of its fourth year of competition and has already racked up more than 50 wins and 125 podiums worldwide over the last three seasons.

The Bentley Continental GT3 is fitted with a 4.0-litre twin-turbo direct-injected V8 engine that produces 550 hp and as it suggests it competes against others in GT3 classification races.

An overall winner of the 24 Hours of Le Mans, this Bentley Speed 8 entered the prototype grid in 2001 and won the event in 2003, driven that day by Rinaldo Capello, Tom Kristensen and Guy Smith. It was indeed a 1-2 finish for the team, with the number 8 finishing second, two laps down.

This prototype had the specifications of a 4.0 liter V8 engine with 600 hp.

Staying with Le Mans and its prototypes, this BMW V12 LMR comes from a little earlier, from 1999 and 2000. In 1999, the trio of Yannick Dalmas, Pierluigi Martini and Joachim Winkelhock drove the number 15 car to an overall victory in the 24 Hours of Le Mans this year.

The car contains a 5.99 liter V12 engine that produces up to 590 hp.

car insurance AZ-1

The Autozam AZ-1 is probably the most out of place in the announcement. Unlike the other three racing beasts, this sports coupe was born under both Mazda and Suzuki from 1992 to 1994, this is what you would call a unique and extremely small car.

We don’t know when an announcement is expected or if there are other updates coming alongside it, but if anything happens we’ll keep you posted. GRID Legends is currently $59.99 or free if you have an EA Play subscription.

We will be happy to hear your thoughts
