Bari Boroumand and Nicolas Longuet join Ferrari Esports winner Jonathan Riley for Scuderia in 2023 from existing F1 Esports teams.
Everything is changing at Ferrari Esports, with three new drivers for the upcoming 2023 season: Bari Boroumand, Nicolas Longuet and Jonathan Riley.
Both Boroumand and Longuet will compete in the F1 Esports Series Pro Championship this season. The former joins from the Veloce-powered McLaren Shadow team, while the latter joins from the also Veloce-led Alfa Romeo team.
Boroumand won a race last season to help the McLaren team win the teams’ title. Longuet’s highest driver standings to date was fourth in 2020.
Jonathan Riley earned his place on the team by being crowned Champion of the 2022 Ferrari Esports Series – a series that used a combination of Assetto Corsa and Assetto Corsa Competizione. He is expected to compete for the team in GT-based competitions to be announced along with teammates at a later date.
“It’s fantastic to join such a prestigious team and it’s a real honor for me to represent Ferrari,” said Boroumand
“It’s a dream come true,” said Longuet.
“It may not be widely known that I’m half Italian, so it’s fantastic for me to finally represent this country with the Scuderia Ferrari Esports team.”

Two of last season’s Ferrari drivers have found new homes. Two-time F1 Esports Champion Brenon Leigh has joined Romain Grosjean’s R8G Esports team, while David Tonizza joins Jean Alesi Esports. 2021 Ferrari Esports champion Kamil Pawlowski is yet to announce plans for this season but has also departed.
