Your guide to Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races on October 10th: The 25 Minutes of Interlagos

More ranked online hopper races are now live in Gran Turismo 7, with a mix of classic single seater, Gr.3 and LMP machines.

A new week and we are approaching the end of 2022, a new series of daily online ranked races for Gran Turismo 7 that you can participate in.

As always, Race A doesn’t affect your driver or athleticism rating, but Races B and C do, the latter being a longer affair.

Suzuka returns alongside the Grand Prix Circuit at Brands Hatch and the Autódromo José Carlos Pace aka Interlagos.

Daily Gran Turismo 7 races on October 10, 2022

RACE A

Gran Turismo F1500T-A Gran Turismo 7

Suzuka is back, just days after the World Championship-decisive Japanese Grand Prix. The car used is also reminiscent of a Formula 1 car from the mid-1980s. Hopefully there will be less confusion with race results in Gran Turismo 7…

The F1500T-A is an odd single-seater with oddly placed gear ratios. The ideal technique is to generally go a gear higher than you expect when cornering. Reducing the number of shifts is key as they are tedious and lose momentum.

Recommended Car: Gran Turismo F1500T-A (Brand Central, 1,000,000 credits or free rental)

Race B

Renault RS 0 1 GT3

Next up is the Brands Hatch Grand Prix for the finale of the British Touring Car Championship for a short, sharp Gr.3 race.

Resembling the GT3 machines, the cars appear smoother and more powerful around the tight confines of the Kentish venue. So, despite the ranking system being turned on, expect plenty of elbows-out maneuvers.

There is also no obvious choice for car selection as the balance of performance is seemingly perfected for this track. BMW, Porsche, Aston Martin, Renault, Ford and Lexus all seem close. We choose the RS01 GT3 simply because it is not used very often.

Recommended car: Renault RS01 GT3 ’16 Gr.3 (Brand Central, 450,000 credits or free rental)

Race C

Porsche 919 Hybrid Gran Turismo 7

No, it’s not the 24 Hours of Le Mans, it’s the 14 laps of Interlagos. Using Gr.1 machines normally seen at the Circuit de la Sarthe, a field filled with Porsche will instead take part in races lasting 25 minutes.

Competitors will have to use both Racing Soft and Racing Medium tires at some point during the race, leading to several different strategies – namely which compound to start the race with.

The 919’s electrified punch is hard to beat, despite the other cars being registered being of a similar vintage.

Recommended Car: Porsche 919 Hybrid ’16 (Brand Central 3,000,000 credits or free loan)

Lap time challenge

Your Guide to Gran Turismo 7 Daily Races on September 26th: And the Beat Goes On...

The current Lap Time Challenge also takes place in Suzuka in a classic single-seater, this time the McLaren MP4/4 ’88 with Ayrton Senna. A new Lap Time Challenge begins on October 13th.

Recommended approxr: McLaren MP4/4 ’88 (Legend Cars, 8,000,000 credits or free rental)
